Our Services

Collective Action

Empowering Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander People to envision sovereign Indigenous health futurities, and to influence and lead health systems transformation.

Knowledge Translation

Facilitating Indigenous Knowledge Translation in health policy & health system reform through culturally grounded consulting and community engagement services.

Community Collaboration

Collaborating with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people, communities and organisations to enable self-determined health system reform agendas through culturally grounded consultancy services centered on community empowerment.

Formed by Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people from diverse cultural, lived expertise and professional perspectives, Gullidala aims to build an Indigenist collective that enables a shift in the criteria of knowledge, experience and expertise in health systems and envisions and builds capacity for Indigenous health futurities.

We dream of a culturally centred and just health system that respects and values Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander People, communities and Knowledges.

This organisation is named in honour of its namesake Aunty Professor Gracelyn Gullidala Smallwood. Gullidala, meaning seagull in Birrigubba, was gifted to Aunty Gracelyn by the late Aunty Renarta Prior. In accepting the gift of this name, we honour Aunty Gracelyn Gullidala Smallwood’s legacy as a human rights & health activist.
